These terms govern your use of the BMS Lighting & Audio website. They are deliberately short. They do not replace the contract for an actual order — the quotation, proforma invoice and sales contract for each shipment prevail over anything written here.

By accessing, browsing or using this website you agree to these terms of service. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.
These terms cover use of the website. The sale of products is governed by the written documents issued for each order — our quotation, proforma invoice, order confirmation and signed sales contract. Where those documents conflict with these terms, the order documents prevail.
2. Permitted use of this website
You are welcome to:

- Print or save pages for your own internal evaluation and purchasing decisions
- Share links to our pages, including from your own website or social media
- Request quotations, technical data sheets and samples from our sales team
You may not:
- Use automated tools to scrape, harvest or bulk-download the site or its product data
- Copy our catalogue, product photographs, technical drawings or specification text into your own website, marketplace listing, catalogue or advertising material without our written permission
- Use our content to populate a competing product database, price-comparison service or AI training corpus
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, its servers or any connected system, or interfere with its normal operation
- Introduce malware, or upload anything harmful through any form on the site
- Present yourself as BMS, or as an authorised distributor or agent, when you are not

3. Intellectual property
All content on this website — product photography, technical drawings and diagrams, catalogue text, page design and layout — is owned by us or licensed to us and is protected by copyright. The names BMS and BMS Lighting & Audio, our logo and our product model names are our trademarks.
You may download and print pages for your own evaluation, and you may quote short extracts with a clear credit and a link back to this site. You may not republish, resell or redistribute our photographs or specification text as your own material.
Distributors, integrators, trade press and event organisers may request permission to use our images and specifications — ask at contact@bmslighting.com. We normally grant it, provided the material is reproduced accurately, not altered, and not presented in a misleading way.
4. Product information and specifications
Please read this section before relying on any number on this site.
The specifications, photometric figures, dimensions, weights, images and accessory lists published on this website are provided for reference and comparison only. They are indicative, not contractual. In particular:
- We improve our products continuously. Design, components, optics, firmware, control features and packaging may change without notice, and the version shipping today may differ in detail from the version shown on this site.
- Photographs and renders may show optional accessories, custom finishes or configurations that are not included as standard.
- Colour reproduction varies between screens; the finish of delivered fixtures may differ from what you see on your display.
- Performance figures such as beam angle, output and lifespan are typical values measured under defined test conditions and are subject to normal manufacturing tolerance.
Nothing on this website is a binding offer. Before placing an order, always confirm the current specification and revision for the exact model you intend to buy with our sales team, and refer to the technical data sheet issued with your quotation. The specification in that document, and in the signed contract, is the one that applies.
5. Quotations, orders and contracts
Prices, availability and lead times shown on this site or given in correspondence are indicative and may change with material costs, exchange rates and production scheduling. A binding contract of sale comes into existence only when we issue a written proforma invoice or order confirmation, or when both parties sign a sales contract.
Delivery terms, risk transfer, payment terms and warranty conditions are set out in that order documentation, including the Incoterms rule that applies. They are not governed by this page.
6. Third-party content and links
Product demonstrations and our corporate film are streamed from a third-party video platform — currently Bilibili, and YouTube (a Google service) once our videos have been migrated. The player is loaded from that platform’s servers, so when you press play your browser connects directly to them, and that connection is subject to the platform’s own terms of service and privacy policy rather than ours. We do not control those services.
Links to other websites are provided for your convenience. We do not control them, we do not endorse their content, and we are not responsible for anything on them or for any loss arising from your use of them.
7. Availability of this website
We aim to keep this website available and accurate, but we provide it “as is” and “as available”. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, timely or error-free, that defects will be corrected, or that the site or its servers are free of harmful components. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of the site at any time without notice.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of business, loss of data, or loss arising from your reliance on the reference information published on this website.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability which cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
Where products are supplied to you under a separate contract, our liability in relation to those products is governed by that contract and not by this page.
9. Force majeure
We are not liable for any failure or delay in performing an obligation under these terms, or under any order, where the failure or delay is caused by an event beyond our reasonable control. This includes natural disasters, epidemics, war, civil unrest, strikes, government action or export restrictions, port congestion, shipping-space shortages, power cuts or rationing, and shortages of raw materials or components from our own suppliers.
Where such an event occurs, we will tell you promptly and in writing, and the time for performance will be extended by the duration of the delay. If the event continues for more than 60 days, either party may cancel the affected order without liability, save for goods already produced or shipped, which remain payable.
10. Governing law and arbitration
These terms, and any dispute arising out of or in connection with your use of this website, are governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of China, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
Any such dispute shall be submitted to the China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (CIETAC) for arbitration in accordance with the CIETAC arbitration rules in force at the time the arbitration is commenced. The arbitration shall be administered by the CIETAC South China Sub-Commission in Shenzhen, which shall also be the seat of arbitration. The arbitration shall be conducted in English. The arbitral award shall be final and binding on both parties, and judgment on the award may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction.
Nothing in this clause removes any mandatory right you may have under the law of your own country of residence.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page at the moment you use the site is the version that applies to that visit. The date below shows when they were last changed.
